Importing
Over the years, Emerald has imported coal from around the world.  Much of this coal has been for use in the specialty markets including the manufacture of silicon metals, cement, aggregates, steel, and carbon products.  More recently, coal from countries such as Columbia, Venezuela, Poland, Russia and South Africa have been imported for power generation.  Emerald maintains a US Customs import bond and can provide logistics to all areas of the United States.
